I worked all afternoon yesterday and came home as my husband was leaving for work. And of course it was nearing dinner time! I made this with what I found in the kitchen while my kids built a fort in the living room. We ate it on the floor and turned on a movie and my oldest said “Mommy, this is the best thing you’ve ever made!” 😆 This is a reminder for all of you, like me, caught in a constant struggle at meal times:
Sometimes simple is best. Sometimes it’s the easiest things that your kids will enjoy the most. You don’t have to make it pretty and it doesn’t have to take hours to cook.
We all bonded as we sat around the cookie sheet talking about our day and eating. Food is so much more than ingredients. It’s time spent with loved ones creating memories.
