Gluten Free Peanut Butter Pie

This has been a family specialty for decades! My Granny made the best pies and as a family of peanut butter lovers, this was always a favorite.

My oldest has been wanting to try pie but said he wants a peanut butter one so I knew I needed to make this recipe! It’s really easy and of course sooooo yummy.

Peanut Butter Cream Pie

1 Pie crust, baked ( store bought or homemade, even a graham cracker crusts works great for this too! )

3/4 cup creamy peanut butter

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1 3.4 oz package vanilla instant pudding

1 1/2 cups milk

1 1/2 cups whipping cream

In a small bowl mix together 1/4 cup peanut butter and 1/4 cup powdered sugar. It becomes like a crumby paste. Set aside and pour the whipping cream into a mixer and whip until whipped cream.

In a medium size bowl, mix together the pudding mix, milk, and 1/2 cup peanut butter. Gently fold 1 cup of whipped cream into the mixture.

Layer the peanut butter paste in the bottom of a baked pie crust by crumbling it around. Spread the pudding mix on top of the peanut butter layer and make sure it’s even.

Add a little powdered sugar to the whipping cream ( about 2 tablespoons ) to sweeten it. Spoon it on top of the pudding layer and spread it all over the top. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours or until it’s set.
