Discovery Dish Review

Our pot of gold at the end of the rainbow 🌈 looks a lot like corn 🌽😄 I’m sharing about this @discovery.dish below! I love trying out new products and sharing them with you all! I am often offered free things to try and I only share ones that I would buy myself. I love the idea and novelty of this plate and was excited to try it with my picky eaters!

You may have seen me share this plate I received to test out in my stories. It’s a capstone project for a group at Green River College. I love that they are so inspired to help parents of picky eaters make meal time a little easier!

The idea of this plate was a total hit with my kids – A removable insert with a surprise to reveal underneath! I don’t like to use food as a reward so I kept the food that was placed underneath something that would normally be on their plate. Unfortunately my kids could not remove the cover so I wish there was a tab or something to make it easier to remove but they couldn’t wait to see what was under it!

The idea is that you place a food that is something that you want them to try and when they eat what is on top, they get what is below. I personally don’t force my kids to eat anything on their plate. I’ve found it really helps with my picky eaters being WAY more willing to try new things when there is no pressure or force. They ate what they wanted of the veggie rainbow and got to move on to their pot of gold!

Do you think your kids would love this plate? Let me know!
