4 Ways to Use Brown Bananas

Got brown bananas? DON’T THROW THEM AWAY!! There are so many awesome uses for over ripe bananas and the best part is, the bananas just get sweeter. Which one would you make first?



2 Ingredient Banana Pancakes

1 ripe banana, mashed

2 eggs


Mix the two ingredients together well with a fork. Pour onto a greased griddle over medium low heat. Cook until browned on each side.




Banana nice cream

2 bananas, frozen

2 tablespoons peanut butter


Blend the the ingredients together in a food processor until creamy and smooth.





The Best Banana Bread Muffins

3 medium very ripe bananas

2 eggs

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup oil or (1 stick) butter, melted and slightly cooled

2 cups Gluten Free flour ( I use Bob's Red Mill 1-1 GF Flour )

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup mini chocolate chips


Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease or line muffins tin with paper liners. In a large bowl, mash the bananas with a fork. Add sugar, oil and eggs. Add the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.


Mix until combined. Add chocolate chips. Fill prepared muffin cups halfway with batter. Bake for 22-24 minutes.


3 Ingredient Banana Cookies

1 ripe banana, mashed

3/4 cup oats

1/4 cup chocolate chips


Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix all ingredients together and spoon out onto a silicone baking mat liner cookie sheet. Bake for 18-20 minutes. Makes around 6-8 cookies!
