Nothing screams summer quite like lemonade!! 🍋 We love making it at home with a little twist! This blueberry & basil lemonade is a drink my oldest and I love to sit outside and sip together 💛 And it’s super simple to make!
2 heaping Tbs honey
2 cups water
A few basil leaves, torn
2 lemons, zested and juiced
1/2 cup fresh blueberries
Ice
Put honey, 1 cup water, basil leaves, lemon zest in a small saucepan to make a simple syrup. Heat to a boil. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature. .
Fill a glass with ice, simple syrup, lemon juice, fresh blueberries, remaining 1 cup of water. Roughly stir and muddle the blueberries. Pour over ice and enjoy!
